The machine has an infeed hopper, a transport chain with carrying pockets and a 5 kW drive running on 230\/400 V, 50 Hz. Inside the housing sits the rotating peeling head with rotating knives that top, tail and cut around the onions, after which air is used to remove the skin. Capacity is up to 100 onions per minute.
