Belt and outfeed
The fillets travel on a perforated belt through the cutting housing. Behind the cutter, pneumatic pushers guide the portions to the right outfeed.

Cuts fillets into portions by weight
The Marel IPM3 X300 is a portion cutter for fish, chicken and meat fillets. Each piece is scanned on the belt, and the machine works out where to cut to get portions of a fixed weight or length. You get more out of every fillet with less trim left over.
The machine was built in 2005 and has a perforated belt 280 mm wide. Settings are made on the control panel with a colour screen. It is in stock in Emmeloord and can be inspected.
