Vertical packaging machine (VFFS) with servo drives and Videojet printer
This Wolf VPC 250 is a vertical form-fill-seal machine built in 2019 by Wolf Verpackungsmaschinen. It forms bags from reel-fed film, fills and seals them, and can be combined with multihead weighers, linear weighers, auger fillers and other dosing systems. According to the specifications for the VPC 250 series, it makes bags of approx. 50 to 250 mm wide and 80 to 450 mm long, from film up to approx. 600 mm wide, with a fill volume of up to approx. 6 litres. What is achievable depends on the installed forming set, the product and the film.
The machine has a Siemens SIMATIC touchscreen with PackML control, SEW drives and servo-controlled functions, dual vacuum-assisted film pull belts, a photocell for printed film and an integrated knife. The front and rear cross seals and the vertical seal each have their own temperature control. An integrated Videojet DataFlex 6320 thermal transfer printer prints dates, batch numbers and barcodes directly onto the film. Spare film pull belts and parts are available with the machine.
