Boven de lade zitten de schilkoppen in een rij. Ze volgen de vorm van de asperge, zodat de schil overal even dik wordt weggehaald. De schillen vallen in de lade eronder.

Schilmachine voor asperges met acht stations
De Hepro Schäl-Automat HSM-180/SAP schilt asperges automatisch. De asperges worden ingelegd en langs de schilkoppen gevoerd, die de schil gelijkmatig verwijderen. De machine heeft acht stations die u per stuk aan of uit zet; de geschilde asperges komen er aan de zijkant op het aflegblad uit.
Volgens het typeplaatje is hij gebouwd in 2008 door Hepro GmbH in Delbrück (Duitsland), aansluiting 400 V, 50 Hz, 3 fasen, 0,5 kW. De machine staat op wielen in Emmeloord en is te bezichtigen.
