Tray sealer that closes pre-formed trays with film
The Meca Plastic S3000 is a tray sealer: you place pre-formed trays with product in the tooling, the machine brings them under the sealing head and seals a top film onto them. The machine has a touchscreen with Dutch menus where the sealing temperature, pressure and speed are set per programme.
The tooling fitted takes two trays per cycle; tooling is matched to the tray size, so a different tray needs different tooling. The machine was built by Meca Plastic in Pouzauges, France. The type plate is there, but the filled-in fields are no longer legible, so year and serial number are not known. It is in Emmeloord and can be viewed.

The tooling
On a tray sealer the tooling is matched to the tray you use. The tooling fitted takes two trays per cycle.
To seal a different tray you need different tooling. Send us the dimensions of your tray and we will work out what is needed.
