Metal detector
The Safeline detector sits right before the weigh belt. Its own screen holds a profile per product. A pack with metal is rejected automatically, just like a wrong weight.

Weighing and metal inspection in one machine
The Mettler Toledo Garvens XS 3 CC weighs every pack in motion and also checks it for metal, using a Mettler Toledo Safeline metal detector in the line. Packs that are under- or overweight or contain metal are pushed off the belt into the reject bin.
The rating plate shows it was built in 2011, serial number 35002725, weighing range up to 1000 g. It is in stock in Emmeloord and can be inspected.
