10-head multihead weigher with large, dimpled weigh hoppers
The MultiWeigh HDW 10 is a multihead weigher with ten weigh hoppers, built by HD-Wiegetechnik in Wetzlar in 2014. It has large stainless steel hoppers with a dimpled surface, so the product is less likely to stick to them. The weighing range runs from 48 grams to 1,000 grams per weighment, with a 1-gram scale interval.
The machine is set up for vegetables (product range -5 to +45 °C) and comes complete with infeed ring, collecting funnel with gate and an IPC controller with colour touchscreen in a separate control box. It is in very good condition, stands in Emmeloord and can be viewed and tested with your product.

For every weighment a multihead weigher picks the combination of hoppers that comes closest to the target weight. With ten hoppers and a range of up to 1 kilo, this is the standard size for retail packs: bags, punnets and trays.
The type plate lists vegetables as the product. With its dimpled hoppers the weigher also suits other moist or sticky products, such as salad and snack vegetables, IQF products and diced meat or fish.
Take the machine as it stands here, or let us go through it first in our own workshop: inspection, replacing wear parts, cleaning and testing with your product. Exactly what is done is agreed per customer.
