Onion peeling machine for professional vegetable processing
This USM-100 is an onion peeler built by Sormac in Venlo, manufactured in 2006 and finished in stainless steel. The machine has an infeed hopper, a transport chain with carrying pockets and a 5 kW drive running on 230/400 V, 50 Hz. Inside the housing sits the rotating peeling head with rotating knives that top, tail and cut around the onions, after which air is used to remove the skin. Capacity is up to 100 onions per minute. The set is complete with an inspection and discharge conveyor with collection bin, as shown in the photos.</p
