Built around one customer’s process
For a customer in the Netherlands we fully reconditioned this Kronen GEWA 4000 washing machine and tailored it to their specific requirements and application. Instead of asking the customer to adapt their process to a standard machine, we started with the way the washer would actually be used on their line and worked back from there.
The GEWA 4000 came into our workshop as an intensively used production machine. It left as a reliable, high-quality washing machine, ready for many more years of hard work.
A complete technical overhaul
The machine was taken apart and gone through from top to bottom. Every major part was inspected, assessed and then repaired, renewed or replaced:
- Full technical inspection. All major mechanical and electrical components were checked and judged on their actual working condition rather than on their age.
- Mechanical repair. The frame, the tank and the moving parts were stripped, cleaned and rebuilt.
- Replacement of parts. Worn and outdated parts were replaced with new components, while parts still in good order were expertly reconditioned.
- Drive and conveyor belt. The drive and the discharge belt were reconditioned, refitted and adjusted.
- Seals, pipework and fittings. Renewed where needed to bring back a tight, sealed and hygienic finish.
- Assembly and testing. The washer was rebuilt, aligned and thoroughly tested before it left our workshop.
Combining expertly reconditioned parts with brand-new ones is a deliberate choice. New components go exactly where they add the most value, while good original parts are brought back to full working order. That balance delivers reliability, quality and a long service life without unnecessary cost.
